    I've had my q10 for about 2 weeks now. I really like the phone a lot coming from an iphone 5. My main problem with it is my battery life. I am losing about 10 percent an hour with light usage. This is much worse than my iphone 5. I am running the latest verizon release. Is this what everyone is seeing?

    The Q10 has some of the best battery life around. Maybe you should check your settings? There are many threads about conserving battery life.

    Like jaydees says, check the forums for an answer/solution, as this topic has been beat like an old rug. Personally, I get 12-16 hours with HEAVY use constantly.

    I am having the same issue here. I have owned Q10's before but this particular phone has horrid battery life. Also, running the latest release from Verizon. Hopefully I can find a solution from the forums. If not, I guess Ill buy a new battery. I used to be able to go 24-28 hours with light use, but now I'm getting about 14-16.

    Q10 battery life is amazing. I get 22 to 23 hours by moderate to heavy use like downloading, watching videos, surfing the Web continuously, listening to music for 2 to 3 hours, calls, s messaging. I'm totally satisfied with the battery of my q10. My brightness is at 50 percent. O yes if ur mobile date whether 3g or 4g is on all the time then u have quick battery drains. So turn it off when idle.

    I have run number of measurements on earlier OS 10.2.0.424.
    3.5%-4.0% per hour was maximum in my usage scenario.

    I only have around 6-7 hrs with heavy usage. Normal usage get me to 9-10 hrs. Planning to buy new battery.

    Maybe check the app manager to see if something in particular is using a disproportionate amount of power?

    If not then probably a duff battery, it happens.
