If you're watching a movie with a wife or girlfriend you shouldn't be on your phone in the first place...

I tried quiet keyboard on the Z10 but coming from the Bold 9900, I eventually had to turn the feedback sounds back on and my typing rhythm has been a lot better.
I prefer to have the feedback noise on my Z10 too. It's louder than my curve was. Lol.

On the 9930 you can turn off the key tone by unchecking it in the keypad settings. Maybe the Q10 has this setting.....

I love clicking sound too! My curve was clickier than my Bold. But Bold clicking sound is loud enough to wake my hubby up every morning. Sweet wake up call for any bb addicts.

The 9930 was loud clicky to type on? I didn't think so. Same with my 9650 Bold. I will have to test it in store to see if it passes the bathroom-secret-smartphone-stall test. Gheeze.....

9900 little click at first back then, quiets down. Typing style makes it more or less clicky, too: stabbing / staccato more clicky than deliberate push down/release typing.

What I got annoyed at was squeaky keys that developed on my 9800!

I just want to note that I played with a demo model at Rogers Wireless today and it was really quiet compared to my 9810 Torch.

    SO, let the complaints begin.

Everyone needs to realize that no phone will make everyone happy. I would get rid of any girl who is irritated by the clicks of my phone's key board. Sure she has a few things that irritate you and yet you put up with her. Remind her what being in a relationship is all about.

    True!

Q10 is too small, large, noisy keys, battery sucks, incredible, att/vzw/sprint/ bell sucks, screen blurry/too sharp, etc, etc.

WTH? It's just a phone! Not the second coming!

Is it that little Travelocity troll? Oh wait he is a gnome, I always get those two mixed up....

Any way as other posters have said nothing is perfect, even our relationships if you like the Q10 and it clicks a little she'll have to live with it, if she can't trade for a zed and turn off the click then your the one having to live with it. but you probably wanna be putting down the tech while you're supposed to be hanging out together on the couch. But hey that's just me.

    Happy wife, Happy life
