So I've recently lurked the forums for a bit and this is actually my first time on the Blackberry train. When I got my q10 I loved it and all and first thing I did was update it to one of the leaked OS builds as many claimed it worked wonders on the little guy. For the most part things are great BUT there's one little problem.

I have about 3 contacts (that I am aware of) who whenever I receive a text message from them I have to manually check in on to see when it was received. Apparently this was an issue back in 10.2 and I found it weird that at one point my one of my contacts experienced the issue and then suddenly started working normally. Unfortunately, it's been about a month now and the same problem hasn't solved itself for the 3 other contacts facing the same issue. I'm wondering if anyone has ever figured out what fixes this?

Atm current attempts have been consisting of:
Restarting or powering down phone, remove and re-insert battery, Refresh/reset the hub, and backing up the phone and re-installing the back up.

Since you're running 10.3.1 OS, you might want to check the personal contact notifications works for individuals.
Settings > notifications > contact notifications.
See if setting personal notifications could override the notifications missing for text messages.
If that doesn't work, I suggest you do a clean install.
Run autoloader and don't do restore from backup.
Set up everything from scratch.
