I receive a stupid amount of emails a day and have setup outlook rules which move them about accordingly into folders.
Now I can sometimes see my folder contents in my q10(yes sometimes....) however I do not receive any notification that they have arrived.
The only thing I could think was to have my rules run on a timer or manually so my inbox gets all the email and then disperses as appropriate. Not elegant but may work?
I'm using BES10.2.2, Exchange 2007, Z30 with 10.2.1.2947, with "Sync All Email Folders" turned ON and have 28 Rules setup in Outlook. I haven't had any problems with missing notifications or email messages.
Yes, you only receive notifications for messages in the Inbox. Personally, that works for me. I have a lot of messages that I have to access if required, but I don't want notifications for each. My rules leave them marked as Unread after filing, so I can identify them quickly if needed.
