You will have to sideload it.

Okay I looked at the info but it was so confusing. I'll just wait. What does it mean by side loading? Download snapp and Google store? Use snapp to get apps from Google? Can someone break it down for someone like me who is not so savvy on this device. Just got my Q10 yesterday.

Sideloading is the act of installing apps on a device using a means other than appstores.

Snap is a proxy. It logs you to Google Play and grabs the APK.

You need to sideload Snap, since that's the only way to install .BAR files on BB10.

Then you log on Snap as if you were on Google Play Store.

BB 10.2.1 allows for the installation of APK files directly.

    Soooo

You download Snap from the frist link and sideload it using the second link - it's simple if you follow the instructions. Trust me.

And of you don't want to Side load, you can use the Amazon app store, or even the 1Mobile app store, both without side loading.

Sachesi is the easiest way to do it. Get Sachesi installed on your computer, then download the snap file. Use sachesi to open it and install it on your phone. Takes a little bit to get it all set up but it's really that simple once you do.

Yes, there are other app stores. Problem is, none of them are Google Play.

1mobile has a shade side of apps poping in without the devs postin g them there.

Amazon... not as wide in range as Play Store. But the good news is it will come preloaded on future OS releases...

This is the easiest way to get Snap FOR ME.

You will need a Gmail email to log in to Snap once you have it on your phone.

I love Amazon cause I shop on it all the time. I only use 2 apps for photos. Do you know if the online banking ones work well.

I am using two Android banking apps ( one for a local credit union and the other for a national bank) they both work well. They run a little slow but work.

My bank app works with the exception of the electronic deposit part. If I try to use that it crashed the app when it tries to get into the camera.
