    Hi,

    sorry for my english

    I've tranfered my data from bb7 (9790) to Q10 two days ago using Blackberry Link, and everything run perfectly, except no bbm history transfered from bb7

    note: I still have my 9790 but I've login at that device with new and different Blackberry ID.

    just now, suddenly my Q10 ask me to verify my Blackberry ID.

    I'm sure I've typed my BB ID password correctly, but it still telling me that I typed wrong password.
    (I've tried 7 times).

    Then, I click forgot password, the screen showing message that recovering secret question and answer, but then pop-up an error message: The value you have entered is invalid. Please try again.

    Then I go to BlackBerry ID - BlackBerry Login - Sign In to Apps & Services - US try to reset password with this link https://blackberryid.blackberry.com/...coverpassword/
    but it give me another error message:

    BlackBerry ID Services
    An error has occurred and your request cannot be processed.


    What should I do to resove this problem?
    Pls I don't want to create new BBID.

    Bbm history doesn't transfer.
    I don't know what's going on with your BBID. You sure you're submitting the right email to reset your password?

    Hi Helen, feel very welcome in the CB community !
    (hey, 4 devoted ambassadors and moderators, just for you, nothing less !)
    first thing I'll suggest is that you power down your 9790 prior any manipulation, even if you changed your BBID attached to BBM, even if it's only wifi connected.
    I've met some problems when switching in and out from my Z10 to my Q10. May not be the solution right away but it's mandatory.

    I suggest then you check your BBID independently of BBM.
    On Q10, go to Settings and select BlackBerry ID (account management).
    If this is the correct BBID and it is displayed, then you should be able to change the password within the screen.
    Just try this and let us know how it goes.

    (I have no BB7 device available at the moment, so you might check aslo on your 9790 within the settings and be sure your former BBID - the one you want on your Q10 - is not here)

    Did you change the BBID on the 9790 or just change the email associated with it? If you edited it on the phone, you were probably just changing the email associated with your existing BBID. This would have also made you use the new email and password on the Q10 to log in.

    To put a new ID on the 9790, you would need to do a security wipe and then setup a new BlackBerry ID.
