I'm getting spam text messages from a business. The business is not in my contacts. Where the number is supposed to be, I see the businesses name instead.
When I try to respond to the spam text message I get "Short message transfer rejected", no matter how long my text message is.
When I try to call the sender of the message I get "Unexpected data value".
When I try to add the sender to my contacts so I can hopefully see their number, nothing happens.

My service provider has a spam reporting service, but they need my to give them the number of the spammer. The problem is I just can't see what the number I'm being messaged from so I can't use their reporting service.

Do you have an online account with your service provider where you can monitor call logs/other activity? If so, log in and see if these incoming text messages are being logged there.

Out of curiosity, is your service provider T-Mobile USA?
