Finally after waiting for more than 2 months for my Q10, i got it today and it was worth the wait. Even though the Q10 was launched in India a month back for Rs.45000 ($750), i was not willing to pay that price so i asked my friend in HK to send it to me. It costed me Rs.32000 ($550) which is a reasonable price acc to me.

I was an anti-bb user 2 years ago, until i saw the Bold 9900. I just loved the design of the phone so much that i waited for 6 months before it finally got released. Since then i've been using two phones, a bold along with an iphone or a galaxy. The only problem with the 9900 was the OS, it took so much time to do a simple task and the worst thing was to restart the device after every app installation. Then finally BB10 was here and they opted to release the Z10 1st much to my dissapointment. And finally after so much wait, the Q10 arrived.
The 1st thing when I opened the box today was WoW! The phone looks absolutely stunning and the keyboard is actually superb. I thought the 9900 was the best keyboard ever, until today. The keyboard on the Q10 is fantastic, the keys are bigger and you just need a reason to type on this beautiful keyboard. The only negative with the design is that it feels a bit more thicker than the 9900 even though it actually isn't acc to dimesions.

Next thing- BB10! The OS is absolutely brilliant, it just took me less than an hour to get used to everything and after that i was so quick as if i have been using this device since forever. The OS is fluid and fast, it works amazingly well with the keyboard. Hats off to Blackberry for making such a great OS. There are a few bugs and lags but lets not forget that even iOS and Android were not what they are today. And i'm sure the OS will become perfect with time!
The negatives (not really) , like:
It takes a few seconds when you click on a number to dial it, this is a bit irritating.
If would have been great if the device was a bit thinner.
I would like to see some changes in the notification system, it is not quite up to the mark.
The pricing is hurting BB a bit, they should make their devices a bit more affordable.
Apps are a problem to a no of people, but i only use the basic one's which are easily available and fluid as well except for instagram. For games & all i have my iPad mini.

And the positives are much much more:
There was no issue of closing an app while scrolling through pages, they optimized it to work effectively in an app.
    BB Hub is absolutely amazing.
Camera is very nice as compared to the no auto focus camera on 9900. Front camera is really good as well.
Screen size is perfect, i'm willing to sacrifce the screen size anyday for this wonderful keyboard. It is the best thing in this world to type on.
No BIS required, everything works with Wi-fi as well as normal internet plans. A big thumbs up for this!
The slide up to unlock feature is certainly the best

And i also have a few replies to negatives i read on Crackberry forums:
There is no direct call option in text messages --- Click and hold the number or contact name and the slider will come from the left giving you the option to directly call from messaging.
Brightness issue --- Guys, i have set my brightness level at just 50% and it is perfect, to those who think it is bad, go check with an eye specialist.
To others who are complaining that OS7 was better, are you serious? You guys think that Old is Gold but not always. Don't expect the same things which were there in OS7 in BB10 because it is like shifting to a whole new OS as if you were shifting from OS7 to iOS or Android.

I personally think that Blackberry have worked really hard on BB10 and it has paid off as they have built a fantastic OS.
I sold both my iPhone 5 & Bold 9900 to replace them with HTC One & Q10. I have still not purchased HTC One and will buy it next week most prob. And as of now i"m using Q10 as my only device and i"m loving it. I will always keep two phones, one an iOS or Android device & second a BB with a physical keyboard. But Q10 can get all your work done on its own.
And guys, this is the 1st time i'm writing something for a device so sorry for anything wrong. These are things which came to my mind, and i couldn't stop myself from writing all this even after using it just for 6-7 hours.
In the end, the Q10 is worth every single penny & i simply love it. And will recommend it to any person.
    PS: I'm a student and a gadget lover, not a businessman :P

Hi,welcome and grats with your Q10. Got my Q10 about 3 months now and still love it. Came from android myself, S2 and Note2. The typing on this baby is so awesome and accurate. Don't need a zillion apps anyway so i'm good to go. Updates should follow and they do on a regular basis so happy with that. Hope you both will still be happy as me in a few months but i'm pretty sure you will be.
