My Q10 has lost all Bluetooth capabilities with my BMW other than the ability to make calls. How can I get it working as I had it before?

used to be able to have contacts, email and texts- non of those show any longer

Try deleting the existing bluetooth profiles for your BMW and then go through the pairing process again. :)
