My new Q10. which transfer route should I take?

Yesterday I bought Q10 even after reservations on deep search (other fields) of Contacts, tasks, memo, calendar etc. I found this to be the best productive phone ever, even to the verge of replacing most PC work.
Now, i wish to transfer my Contacts, calendar, tasks, memo to Q10 from 9900. I already updated to new official OS from Blackberry India. I envisage following ( I have no cloud data, and presently do not wish to have one, just want to get going asap):

1. Backup OS through Sachis, in case I have to restore OS. Does it allow OS backup and restore?
2. Then, install 10.2.1.1925 and radio 1926.
3. Then transfer my Contacts, tasks, memo, calendar to Q10 from 9900. My question is should I take Link Device switch or Link Outlook route (my native PC outlook 2007, I have windows7 64 OS on PC)? I would prefer Device switch. But after switch when I create sync with my Outlook 2007, will there be duplicate entries? what is this issue of losing contacts if there are no primary ( but have second) email, phone numbers, or no first name but only Company name? Has it been sorted out in Link 122_b010?
4. Usually, with my new devices I try a few apps, then wipe to factory settings. Can I repeat above steps on Q10?

I just performed a switch on my Z30 tonight using Link and device switch with no issues. I do recommend removing the SIM card from the Q10, turn it on and with wifi add your email accounts before the switch. In the states and with Verizon, inserting the SIM and turning on the phone will activate it if you have the radio on. I had mine in airplane mode for a couple of days getting use to the phone, browsing with wifi and adding my email accounts before the device switch and activation. That's me though. I then did the switch through Link, put my SIM in and activated the new phone. Went fine with no duplication of contacts, email or photos.

I wish to add email accts after OS leak updt. Is that fine?
Anybody with answers to my other questions?
