    I'm sad. Just got my q10 day before yesterday. Sound quality was bad right out of the box. Contacted the seller and he said there is nothing he can do about it.

    Assurant said they can offer me a s7 edge for a replacement. I need a phone right now so I accepted.

    What an end of an era.

    8700g > Q10 > Classic > Q10

    I gave my last one away to a fellow BlackBerry fan, but I just had to get another and load it up with all my favorite apps before the end of the year, when support for BlackBerry World is scheduled to end.

    This one is new old stock - still sealed. And I got an OEM swivel holster and OEM charger bundle, too, because they are essential accessories for this workhorse of a phone.

    I haven't opened it yet because I want to make a YouTube video of it.

    I also bought a Nokia 2.2 to use as a companion device for essential apps, but I plan to make the Q10 my daily driver once again.

    I suspect after upgrading the OS to the latest version, that your sound quality might have improved too. But who knows - it sounds as if you weren't given any time to really test things out.

    I feel for you. Q10s are pretty inexpensive now. If you really miss yours, buy one (maybe from a different seller, as you may have gotten a dud) to use on wifi as a spare. Make sure to get at least 2 weeks to test and return it if you have to. Before you save anything to it, check the OS version and run the latest autoloader on it, to bring the OS, drivers, etc up to date. Then see if you like the sound quality any better than you did on the last device. it
