How can I check if my Blackberry Q10 is unlocked? I intitally bought the device through a carrier however the device was replaced under warranty due to a faulty battery problem. When I started the new device it did not show the carrier logo or sign.

I checked in the Settings, Security and Privacy, SIM Card and this is what it shows.

Silly question I know but can someone just confirm if my new device is unlocked or locked?

    Thank you!

    Whaaaaat?

I think you meant to type, "any phone that you need to insert a SIM card CAN be unlocked."

Mine says Network Subset: Unlocked and Service Provider: Unlocked, does that mean mine is unlocked too? Or does it have to say Network: Unlocked as well?

    Wow, you're so terribly wrong!

All 3 must say unlocked to be unlocked. Network is carrier, so if it's locked to the AT&T network, then it is not unlocked.

You need all three to say unlocked.

Thanks for the replies...but just curious, how do I get it unlocked? I've never gotten a phone unlocked other than using an iPhone and using a jailbreak method to unlock, but how do I go about getting my Q10 unlocked? I'm not sure if i'd really NEED it unlocked if I use H2O or Cricket (since they are AT&T MVNO services)
