Today my blackberry started to overheat over and over again. Every time I pull out the battery to cool them down separately and put it back in , after a few minutes it heats up again. I don't know what to do. It runs 10.2.1.2102 OS.

    Please help me.

Did you download any new apps? Do you have any Android apps side-loaded? Did you play any games on your phone? Also, best not to pull the battery if necessary. You can do a reset by holding down the power button and tapping reset.

Also, it could be a defective battery...

Are you using your Q10 a lot? Mine will overheat when I use it a lot. If you have an app continuously checking on something too it might overheat because the battery is continuously being used.

What temp are you calling overheating? My Z10 regularly goes over 40 degrees. It feels very warm to the touch on the back cover. It has been doing this since I got it in Feb 2013, although it ONLY does it when gaming or if I'm doing some heavy browsing while on LTE.

By overheating I mean when the temperature rockets immediately. I don't use LTE at all because I have SQN100-1 and it doesn't support LTE in Poland.

What is the temp when it goes up? If you watch the battery and cpu tabs on device monitor you should be able to determine what is causing it. It is probably a certain app causing it.

Worse case scenario if you can't find the culprit, is you can do a security wipe.

May be because of some android ports, try uninstalling them. Might help.

Don't install random 4th party apps... especially not a "ram cleaner"...
