It's due to the battery, although I doubt the damage can be reversed, but do change battery

I will say, from the pic ;( looks like only volume control buttons are bent. Could just be my eyes but I would think if he sat on it or other user caused damage there would be more obvious bending in housing.?

Stop playing stupid - it's obvious what happened.

You said you keep your phone in your front pocket - obviously you had it in your pocket and either bent over or sat down with it in there which bent it.

I hope Blackberry doesn't fall for your act of playing stupid.

I think you meant to say "all bent up" as bended up isn't English.

It's unfortunate you broke your Q10 by the looks of it but you have to be more careful next time!

I think it has to do with some kind of heat if you've ruled out all other user faults. Still, it's weird it did that.

The grammar is problematic because the OP is trying to imply that the Blackberry bent itself, which doesn't sound right because it isn't. Saying it the right way - "I bent my Blackberry somehow" works better.

... I never sat over it. And I don't think the pressure of a jeans could bend it

So six pounder, you just looking for a shoulder to cry on or what? You already got 2 offers to fix the problem for you. Have you checked yet if your carrier will replace it for you?

Actually I remember Apple having the same exact problem in iPhone 5 models i think it was the annodization process...the fact the the screen is neither broken nor the tabs on the battery back i would presume that you didnt sit on it.

Im sure all of you guys knew about physics.

If you heat up a metal material, it will be softened and easily get bent.

I think it was warmed up and placed in a bag or something and something heavy went on top it.
And probably that heat came from the battery and processor.

There's no way that happened under regular use.. BlackBerry won't fall for it either, these phones are stress tested and QC checked, there is absolutely NO way that happened through regular typing and use, etc..

Maybe you'll get lucky through BlackBerry support..

You're talking about old BlackBerry device s these bbten devices have NOT undergone the classic rigorous testing lie that of old.

It looks like part of the bezel popped off for whatever reason. unless the screen is cracked/detached from the kb i don't think it can bend like that.

Uh, you do realize that it would take A LOT of heat for there to be a noticeable different in the hardness of steel right?? It's not like the Q10 is made out of lead or some other metal with a very low melting point... If it got heated enough that it could easily be bent without much force, the phone will not be working and all of the plastics would be molten...

Don't look at it like the middle is bent upwards, it looks like that, but it's an optical illusion. The top corner is bent down... You can see the top corner of the screen protruding. The reason why it looks like the middle is bent up is because the battery door is pushed off the bezel at around that point. That's due to the top corner being bent down, pushing the top of the battery door down off the bezel.
