When I finish reading (and close) a bbm/whatsapp or other application message on the side Q10 gives me a default option to delete the message, right then and there.

But for my SMS/text messages the default option (on the right hand side) only allows me to <reply> to the message, not delete it.

Is this just the way Q10 is or is there some option somewhere where the default can be changed to allow me the default option to delete the message when I close it.

    Hope this makes sense! Thanks.

All BB10 devices give the option to delete after read. No way to turn off, move or change this option.

But that's the point, it doesn't give me this option for text messages, when I close them. It gives me an arrow to reply, rather than a bin icon.
