It also will sync to your phone with link. I have a mac and found opening itunes before link helped with the sync. Also plugging in the device rather than relying on wifi to perform the sync.
So glad I have all my favorite music still on CD's and when I want to put it onto my BlackBerry's, it's super easy to rip and copy the data to my storage.
I have always turned on mass storage and just copied to my sdcard, or used the card reader to cope. That's how I'd do it if I've already got my music backed up on a pc anyway.
I'm curious if people are using the stock player, of if there's a media player app that's superior.

Which app and how is it superior to the native one? Just curious since I have been doing just fine with the native one so far.
Neutron Music Player is my main music app as well. I don't care much for its UI, but after listening to the songs on it with the equalizer turned on, there is no going back to the stock music app!
For the sake of posting, damn, I have always hated iTunes with all my heart, lol.

Me too! But, I hate both iTunes and the BlackBerry Link. I can not understand how BB has been able to make such a beautiful OS (10), and at the same time such a lousy Link software!
Why did you have to make me paranoid, lol? I have only installed BlackBerry Link, have not yet launched it though. Then again, I have no need for it...yet

There are many posts on BlackBerry Link that you can search for and learn from. Who knows, you might like it (I am sure many do)!
It works universally, so it works with both my Ipod and my BlackBerry.
And unlike BlackBerry Link, you can actually edit the song info through this.
Also, I have been meaning to try the Neutron Player. Can you still change the songs via volume keys on Neutron Player? And what is it about the Neutron Player UI that you don't like?
Have had success with using "Aimersoft DRM" program for transposing from media player to Blackberry Q10. Do recommend 64GB card for storage. I have over 600 clips on the card with plenty of space left. A lot of "copy and paste" processes.
