How can I retrieve files in the directory /mnt/sdram on my Q10? The exposed Windows shares are obviously not showing these files. The 1mobile market uses it to store apk files. There is one in particular that I would like to backup in case I ever lose the phone.
Can I insert the SDRAM card into a PC and mount the SDRAM with a Linux-based system? What I really need is the Cisco Jabber IM 9.0.6.990 apk file. The new version 9.6.x does not work on the Q10. I have not been able to find the old version. Luckily it was stored locally on the SD card. Anyway, does anyone know if there is a site that keeps old versions of apk files around and more importantly, I'd like a copy of this specific apk.
I have. What I am finding is a bunch of websites that look like stores which all are either bogus or link back to the Google store. The Google replaced the version I need with the latest. I was hoping that some stores actually have the own file repository. I am not finding any. I might be looking for the wrong keywords or thing. Any help is much appreciated.
There's an app called "apk share" on snap... it brings you the apk file of any of your installed android apps and puts it under misc/android/apk-share
Try that
Edit: I reread your posts and I think it won't be of much help to you if you have already replaced the old version with the newer one that doesn't work..
Actually I was able to reinstall the old version because the 1mobile mart app stores all downloaded apk under /mnt/sdram. I just want to retrieve it so if I ever lose my phone I will be able to reinstall. The Jabber IM is a corporate IM client and if it did not work, I would have to get a different phone...
I will try the "app share" app. Thanks for the pointer.
