I like the "pocketability" of the q.

But the sim card on the passport and classic are the same, so it's easier switching. And I switch a few times a year. It sucks having to go to the tmo store to get a new sim each time.

Get a sim adapter. I did that between the Passport and the Z30 for quite a while without issue.

I use a nano sim in my Q without the adapter. Just place it close to the bottom of the device and slide it in about 90% of the way. It locks in due to the springs in the SIM tray. No issues at all. Now I can swap between my Classic and Q without the need to activate a new SIM card each time.

The adapters are not for those who aren't experienced in using them. You can easily damage your device if you aren't careful.
    rayporsche and modifier like this.

Not sure how the Classic lacks "pocketability" but do whatever makes you happy.

I want to swap between my passport and q.

I just don't like adapters because in the past, they tore the springs/pins out of my bold.

Simple go to your mobile provider and tell them you want to swap. They can provide you with a blank Sim of your choice and guidance on how to get it activated.

I don't know what kind of contract or plan you have with your carrier, but I get three SIM cards included for free on my contract. I have a nano and two micro SIMs, they all use the same number and can be configured via my carrier's online portal. Maybe you could go ahead and ask your carrier if there is a possibility to get a second (micro) SIM since you'd like to use two devices.

You can find the adapter on eBay for $0.99 each and it comes in very handy for switching back and forth.
