    I've just bought Q 10 about a week ago, and I'm loving it totally. I used to have an Android phone. After have been using a BB 10 phone, I must admit that it's the best platform for me, despite the lack of apps. I've never used many apps before on Android, so this is not an issue.

    Not sure why anyone would be using a q10 when there's a classic and passport out there... classic is like 10x better than the q10

    Time to let go of the past folks... I loved my nintendo 64 too but i use Xbox one now..

    Yeah, I'm using it as a mobile Hotspot. The Blackberry plans are the data plans you could get in Nigeria, and as that remains true I would keep using my Q10 to it stops working

    I'm curious. How is 10.2.1 better than 10.3.1? A lot of users seem to think so. What are the advantages it has?

    Forgive my typos, I don't look when I type
    It has been a while, so I have forgotten all the issues. And to be fair some of the issues may have been bugs subsequently fixed on later revisions. However, some issues are;

    1. The BLUE dot that squats on valuable real estate;
    2. The grey fonts: difficult to read. Note, I had to reach for readers, 10.2, I don't require readers.
    3. The small icons.
    4. The calendar issues
    5. I use a number of languages and the suggestions in those languages became odd, if not downright incorrect;
    6. Universal search
    7. While I don't use Android that much, I noticed no improvement in the runtime.
    8. Volumes
    9. No longer touch the screen for photos - something I use as I often.
    10. Immediate video recording start. Need I say more?
    11. Flash - a number of websites I visit and or use professionally, albeit seldom on the Q, use Flash.
    12. A number of actions in the "update" required more keystrokes or taps on the screen

    I could continue, but it just wasn't good for me. And I know this will set many off, if I ever do upgrade, it will be to the one upgrade immediately before the OS lock function that does not allow me to change my OS anymore. Part of the improved security feature, but isn't for where I live.

    In closing, you have do select the phone and OS that is correct for you. Would advise reading the forums as there is lots of good advice and opinions. On both sides of the fence.

    Best of luck.

    I am still with my Q10. I am planing to buy the another Q10 in white (now I own in black). After that, maybe I will buy Z10.
    These phones are becoming more and more classic.
    By the way, next week is arriving a genuine battery and a desktop charger for my q10. I have no intention to stop using my Q10!

    Greetings from Lithuania, BlackBerry fans! And I wish for BlackBerry a nice success with a new Priv.

    Had my Q10 since launch and haven't stopped since. Lots of reasons I love it, but it's also the last BlackBerry with BB10 and a keyboard you can pull the battery on.

    The ONLY meaningful difference between the Q10 and the Classic is the toolbelt. It wasn't an upgrade, much less 10x better. It was a lateral move. The Passport is quite an upgrade, but it's not compact, and it has that strange three-row keyboard.

    Still using the q10 and enjoying every experience, every time. So smooth and responsive. Planning to buy a Passport SE soon. That will be me done for the next 2 yrs at least. Whether they pull the plug on BB 10 or not, I will be using these wonderful devices till they die a natural death. Not into using many apps, so BB is a winner for me hands down, over everything else out there. Far superior experience to anything else on the market. Only if they marketed the thing properly, they wouldnt be where they are now with their abysmal sales numbers.

    Maybe its me? Don't know what others feel, but one thing is certain that the screen is very easy on my eyes for reading and I don't lose my concentration when I'm up to reading something on this cool small display.

    It's now Oct 2015 some 290+ replies. Have two Q10's. Great, admittedly not perfect. Go BB. Question will there be a mass migration from Q10? Chances are no.
    There was a Q10-gold (solid?) a month ago with ?Arabic keyboard on Ebay it was complete priced at $46,000. It's gone!

    I have tried Classic and decided to skip it. I liked the toolbelt but the device was just too large for me. And non removeable battery with so-so capacity.
    Passport is different story. I tried it as well and both liked and disliked. May be I'll change my mind when I put my hands on SE - design is really cool.

    Yes, I too like the screen. Obviously, I am not watching movies. However, for reading my emails, BBM's, SMS, etc., and reading the FT and Bloomberg, it is just great.

    And this is from a guy on the cusp of readers! Really, I still think of myself as 18.

    I got hooked on a pkb after I got a Torch for work. Within 9 months I got a Q10 from work and since then I've traded my personal Nexus 4 in for a personal Passport and it's such a great device. The form factor is great for reading and browing, but I did miss the Q10 a bit since it's smaller and easier to handle. I recently got another Q10 for personal use as, a backup phone and I forgot how much I missed it. Great little device!
