Hey everyone. I have a new Q10 here in the states that I bought on Amazon. It is the Rogers model SQN 100-3. I know that AT&T's LTE service runs on model SQN100-1. I am getting 4G service everywhere I go. Just curious as to how much faster/better LTE service is. I haven't noticed any slowness at all with my 100-3. Do you think it's worth returning for a 100-1 model??? I am loving my new Q btw!

4G and LTE are the same thing friend. Real 4G at least. Some carriers tried to push HSPA as 4G but we know better.

So, since it's workin fine for you, I guess that answers your final question!

Thanks! I love this little bugger. And it doesn't have an ugly carrier logo on it! So nice! Someone at work today spotted it and said "nice bto see blackberry is making good looking phones again" hahaha. If only they knew when this phone was released! Also, this phone is the PERFECT size. Love it.

It's a pretty big step up in download speeds. With Rogers I believe from 4G to LTE the bump in speed is from around 21mbps to 75mbps, then with the Q10 it was able to access LTE Max which bumped speeds to around 150mbps. Rogers just launched LTE cat6 in my area, speeds of up to 300mbps apparently! Haven't been able to test it out as the only device I know of that will work on LTE cat6 is the Note Edge, and I don't have the right SIM card to try out Note Edge just yet!

On my Rogers Q10 the difference between 4G and LTE is night and day. 4G caps out around 14-17mbps, with LTE i've gotten just over 80 on speed tests, battery life is basically the same too.

It's also easier on the battery.

True only if you have stable connection, some areas where LTE signal is weak it actually hurts battery life jumping between 4G and LTE.

Basically 4G by it self is hspa+ or what ever but it's not LTE and there is a massive difference with it on att 4G runs about 2 to 3mb down and 1 up from my experience and lte is 20's to high 30's down and 15 to 20 upload
