    Did you make a back up before you updated? Connect to your computer and LINK, and you should be good to go, unless you haven't done that yet. Always, always, always, did I mention always, make a back up before you do any sort of update/downgrade/whatever. Always.

    Not yet. Only got the update last nite and working all day today. I'll hook up to my laptop when I get home. But as it still stands I can't add a new contact!!

    No not sorted. Can't open contact list. And can't even add a new contact. Going to the Vodafone store tomorrow. This is ridiculous

    Were your contacts on your Sim card?
    If yes, take your battery and sim card out, and put it back in after a while and your contacts should come back. Just be a bit patient, as after a reboot, your contacts may take some time to show.
