I've got a Tense sandalwood watch which is "dark-themed" and looks great with the Q10. They're also made in Canada, with a Japanese movement.

I used to have one of their digital watches which was great - it acted like a discreet mirror until you turned it on, at which point it lit up the digital face. Unfortunately, the buttons did not stand up to the level of physical work I do.

EDIT: Whoops, missed your last post on stainless steel. I'll leave this up regardless, as many people don't even know that wooden watches exist. By the way, after a few months the watch starts to polish itself with oils from your skin and really shines up.

I didn't give this a thought when I bought a new Festina watch last week but now having looked at my watch and my Q10 I think they do kind of match

Personally, I don't like that model.
I actually have a Movado but one day I saw those Skagens at Macys and damn they look nice for a fraction of the price. In addition I wear watch as an accessory not as a time tool.

The second one looks a bit better but don't like the numbers on the dial.

I also second the Omega Speedmaster. If that doesn't fit into your budget, check out the Accutron chronographs. They have several beautiful higher end models with diamond bezels which are extraordinary quality time pieces and aesthetically pleasing, yet are still understated and not austentatious. Does that description remind you of another product you know? MSRP typically around the $1500 mark, they can regularly be found on the secondary market under $300 brand new. Movados are low end watches, and would be better suited to RAZR owners.

Agreed I wear a couple of different skagen watches and they are all amazing watches. But when I got out I wear my gucci automatic!
