Sometimes I think about taking the jump but then I say to myself is it worth it? Yeah right I say I wish my laptop wasn't so messed up and could handle a LEAK! I'll just have to wait!!!!

Go to your friend's place and ask to use his pc for 50mins max and you'll be up and running with the leaks in no time.
You can't imagine what you're missing

I really wish I had more friends that used a BlackBerry 10 device it would make thinks so much easier -__- I'm trying to convince people in my circle to make the switch but they look at me like I lost my mind!! Another thing I don't know why BlackBerry seems to be in danger with all of us behind them?

Yes, it is worth the effort to install a leak, esp. if you're way far beyond like our friends who are still on 10.1. It is also fun because you're becoming a part of a community, unofficial beta testers, gaining knowledge at the same time.

My BB10 sprung a leak the moment I saw one available.

Do it, they really increase productivity and user friendliness. I have my PC partitioned with windows in a 30GB section just to do leaks, I drive daily with Linux.

Hmm, I wonder if it'd do an autoloader using wine....

I wish there was a ture step by step on how to load a leak that won't **** up my phone.

I used BBSAK with my 9930 and sipped and loaded the OS with no issues

    This is the latest: http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?t=887047
Please make sure you download the correct version for your phone. Its quite stable and a few minor issues was reported but for the majority of users it works well.

I understand what you mean, but I can never resist a leak. The good thing is if you don't like the leak, you can always revert back to the original one. I'm always too impatient waiting on carriers.

It's all over the forums. Please do a search. Your sprint is a SQN100-4. If the thread says to load a radio file, then do that as well

I remember some posts saying to do a security wipe on the device. Is that after you install the leak? Would restoring after that bring back all of your settings, apps, and icon arrangements?

No need to do a wipe. That has caused probs for others. Just do a restore of your settings and apps

If it's been said once, it has been said a thousand times. But, sometimes restoring old settings to a new OS breaks stuff. IMO follow the how to thread step by step and do a security wipe & fresh set up . That way if there is something that doesn't work right it is easier to identify and correct. Instead of trying to figure out what broke what and trying to redo it. And the time it takes to manually get things back into your Q is dramatically less than having to trouble shoot-read more-and possibly reloading the OS.

Honestly, there's no way in hell I am redoing everything, downloading apps, rearranging icons, changing all of my settings, custom contact notifications, etc. If restoring doesn't work, I'm going back to the old OS where it does...

Oh I do clearly understand! Since 10.1 leaks there were issues with the BlackBerry Link too. I have become very selective on when and what leaks to entertain because of it. Good luck to ya either way!
