So I returned my first Q10 yesterday because some of the keyboard keys were "sticking" a bit. The new one has a lighting problem in that the backlight is brightest at the bottom and weakest at the top. Quite noticeably, too. Does anyone else notice this issue with their keyboard? I didn't notice it on the first device, hence I'm wondering if it was intentional.

    Both devices were MEXICO 5.

I had a look at around 20 devices at the booth from BB in Glasgow and all devices were perfectly fine.

The backlight only comes on in dim lighting. Didn't think to check it in the store, the keyboard looked and felt good on this one. I will check next time.

I have the same problem with mine, also when I press kinda hard in the center of the screen it makes a cracking noise but doesn't break anything.

Anyone else with the same problems? Turn off the lights and let me know if the brightest keys appear to be the 0 and the sym keys. Thanks!

You're seeming to have bad luck. Mines fine.

I can't believe this crap is still going on. How many years have they been making keyboards?

My upper row is indeed slightly dimmer than the bottom rows. Maybe the lowest one, the space and Sym one, is the brightest. It is pretty subtile though and doesn't really bother me. my device is literally perfect otherwise, so I won't send it back to my online retailer and maybe get lucky with even-lit keys but instead get something more concerning like a wobbling key.

Btw, it indeed appears both the 0 and sym keys are the brightest, but that again is only barely noticeable.
