    Hi,

I changed my keyboard 6 months ago because G key was not working anymore.
Now, J and N do not work except if I press very strongly.

Did you encounter the same issue? How long your keyboard last you?

I was expecting the main benefit (keyboard) of a BB phone to last longer than that!
My phone is always in my BlackBerry case when I don't use it.

The solution must be in your second sentence.

Every 3,000 miles or 275 hours of use. Which every occurs first.

I replaced my keyboard after a year or so. I guess it really depends how heavy you use it.

What does this mean, "Now, J and N do not work except if I press normally."? What type of usage is this?

    Example:

    Jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj

Replaced mine a while ago. Just bragged how I got lucky and boom. Started double typing 't' and 'a'. Really annoying.. maybe it won't happen again. We'll see.

I had mine replaced about three months ago. At that time the tech discovered that two of the three replacement keyboards had double typing issues right out of the package. Now I am experiencing double typing starting once again. I am less than impressed with Blackberry's failure to admit they screwed the pooch with the Q10.

    24 months; same keyboard.

I have experienced double-typing several times, for a few months at a time, but it has always gone away on its own before I got around to replacing the keyboard.

Hi ! It's been a few months now that the S doesn't work anymore on mine, and the N is going to join the party soon. I can't even change my keyboard because where I live (small French island in the Caribbean) they don't even have any Blackberry equipment. So I managed to use the T9 cleverly by typing words with an S in it.. and it's pretty annoying as you can guess.
I'm quite relived that it has not only happened to me tho !

I have double-typing, but I see no reason to replace my keyboard. It's not terrible, I just wish the auto-correct would detect more double-types.
