Just got my Q10... few questions.

I wanna start out saying that the Blackbery Q10 absolutely rocks, it is exactly what I wanted in a device. I was bummed with the app store but I figured out how to get Snap and its all good now. However, I have some issues and questions id like to ask.

First is, I get this notification all the time. It shows up on my lock screen as a "article", it will show the time and how many there are. I will have to hit the hub and when I click it, it shows nothing. very annoying.

secondly, is there any way I can take the password option off my lock screen, I feel like this is obvious but excuse me I come from the simple apple ios7.

I belive that is it for now.

What do you mean "article"? Care to elaborate on the issue?

Also, do you want to turn the password off? Settings > Security. It's the only way your phone will stop asking for it.

I believe when i get the notification it shows as little bell symbol on the lock screen. It shows how many "new" articles there are

That's a "notification". HUB > swipe fro the left > Notifications and you'll be able to see all of them.

It's most likely an app telling you you have new stuff. Newsreader telling you there are more articles to read?

So, without screenshot, we can guess that notifications with little bells in his case are from Android apps. Can you list what you installed ?

just go to your hub and click the bottom left 3 bars it shows all accounts and you'll see a red splat with whats new and numbers
