In regards to switching sim cards.
I have a Note 3 currently which takes the same sim card as the BlackBerry Q10. Will I need to call AT&T or do anything to switch the devices or can I do it myself? I tried asking AT&T but they said to do it in-store because I would need a different data-plan but I don't think they understood what I was talking about.
You should be able to simply switch out the SIM card... but sometimes with AT&T you never know

Check with swappa before you go to ebay. That's where I ordered mine. Very easy and convenient. Great transaction.
Already purchased the phone ahead of my post but checking Swappa it looks like prices are the same or slightly worse off.
Swappa's are $200-$230ish for a Mint/Like New phone where as on eBay I paid $200 for what the seller claims is "Like New" barely touched phone kept in a protective case with a screen protector. Also came with an Otterbox Defender and a 32GB Micro SD which makes it cheaper than Swappa.

Congratulations, the q10 is a superb communication device! When the Classic is released you can keep the q10 as a backup device.

Good luck. I have been using mine on wifi (waiting on sim adapter) for a few days and still have issues with the screen. It's small and dark. It's a nice phone, but I prefer the keyboard on my 9900.

I would be interested in hearing your assessment after yours arrives. Please keep us posted.

Weird. I keep my display brightness just a bit below fifty percent and it is still bright enough.

Its a great phone, especially if you love to send loads of messages and very quickly! My favourite feature is the universal search to bring up anything from contacts to apps......enjoy!

Be careful with SIM adapters. There are lots of threads where new Q10 owners broke their SIM reader using an adapter.

Not sure, but I think that my iPhone has a universal search also. I also seem to type much faster on my iPhone and 9900. The keyboard on the Q10 doesn't feel as comfortable, but that could be due to the fact that I'm not used to it. Definitely "feels" blackberry though.

Qs keyboard will not beat that of my E71 but it is an overall upgrade I needed.

Why oh why? You could have got a Q5, X10, X3 (depending on your location) or held out for the PassPort. The AMOLED display in comparison to the bright and beautiful displays of the above is in a word dull. When you have a dull display you have a dull device.

I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone get a BB10 device with AMOLED display. Maybe if BlackBerry gave the end user the ability to disable the automatic brightness feature. Until then stay away.

Something must be wrong with your eyes man. As I mentioned before, even with the brightness below half, the screen is more than enoug clear and bright. And I am saying this with 30ish degree sunny weather for the last week here.

Sure, you could wish something more for multimedia but that is not where the Q10 shines.

The best selling BB10 devices are IPS LCD. Guess there's a lot of people with eye problems man.

Wow!!!! That's a score and a half. Here in Boston people on Craigslist want $300-$400.

Ive been enjoying it, but as different as it is, it still feels like a blackberry. The hardest adjustment might be the screen size, but I am sure that I could get used to it after a while. Honestly, for the price I paid... I can't complain.

Just started using my Q10 as my main phone with Z30 as backup. Love them both. There's something about the Q10 that keeps me coming back to it.
