Issues with BlackBerry Link and Q10

Hello people.

I hadn't backed up my q10 for a while and yesterday I connected it to my PC mainly to back up my extensive contact list and the BlackBerry link software keeps saying "Cannot communicate with device. Try reconnecting or click reload to reload the OS."

What to do??

I am assuming that if I reload the software, i'll lose my contact list. Please help.

If your phones working its just a connection issue with link. I'd try to reinstall Link on the pc and if you have a different usb cord try that and if you are using a usb 3.0 port try a 2.0 cuz sometimes it won't work on a 3.0
