I'm thinking of picking up a Q10 to keep my Z10 company. They are back-ordered at Blackberry US till mid-June, @$299. Amazon has the international version for $269. Will this work OK on AT&T 's LTE network here in the States, or should I hold off until it become available again at Blackberry?

No. The international Q10 (SQN100-3) will not work on AT&T's LTE networks. HSPA+ yes, but LTE--no.

I won a Q10 through the #keystothecity sweepstakes last year. The phone turned out to be a international model because it didn't have a phone carrier logo on it. I tried to activate it through Sprint and it was a no go. I still have it but it's not in use right now.

Thanks, guys. I had a feeling that LTE would be a problem. As it turns out, I found a pretty sweet deal on a slightly used AT&T branded Q10 on eBay.

Enjoy! I have a Q10 to keep my Z10 company too. $218 off Ebay. Loving it.

Sent from my Q10 or Z10.

I wish that I could afford a Z30 to keep my Q10 company. Or even just a Z10 would be fine...

Without knowing your exact budget, have you looked at used Z10s? Brand new you can buy from BB for $200, so used, very good condition you should easily get for $150 (even less if you're in Canada, I suppose.) I'd check local listings (Craigslist/kijiji, etc.) to see how much they're going for around you.

Wow, I must have bought the last one off BlackBerry online store (LOL). I literally just bought one and received it Thursday. Also to keep my Z10's company. I like it a lot. The size is great. Still think I like the Z10 better. But using both now and am very happy. They each have their strengths and weaknesses. The only weakness for me on the Z10 is the battery life. Otherwise a perfect phone.
Hope you enjoy your Q10. I really like mine.

Soooo... my eBay purchase may be going belly-up (don't ask...), so I may have to wait until Blackberry gets restocked. I'm pretty sure the BLACKBERRY1 $100 discount was over on 5/31. Did you use that one or know of another?

That's the one I used. It was before the end of May though. I hope it is still valid.

It was on the Q10, at least at the time I posted. Probably won't be on the Z10 now that it's $200.

Erm I take that back, the Z10's still $300 pre-discount. Looks like the price in cart I was seeing on the Z10 was post-discount. But I hadn't entered the code yet. Weird.

I tried it yesterday, even though the Q is back-ordered, and it *did* work.

I'm pretty sure each code is limited to 2 phones at time of purchase. The code can only be used at checkout one time per account.

Yes, that 's the one. No LTE in the US, and 3G or '4G' (HSPA+) on TMO on the 1900 MHz band only if you're in one of their refarmed cities/areas.

On AT&T though, this phone will get 3G/HSPA+ on the 850 and/or 1900 MHz bands in all AT&T markets. But no LTE.

Lol at "Made in the USA." No, it wasn't.

Sorry, missed the Europe part of your post. This phone is native to Europe, so it should work great there. And for NYC, I'm pretty sure that's one of those refarmed TMO areas, so you should see HSPA+ there.
