PS. I'm thinking maybe our bb's don't really need a battery. It's just all a freaking scene!! LOL

you must have faulty software. either that or it works for a few minutes on 0. i don't think going down to 0 is good for your battery
Your signature sums you up well.
Plug the poor piece of equipment in and stop abusing a fine working device.

I get that too. It's kind of a nice feature. But still try to plug it in asap - it won't go any lower!

I am going to disagree with the crowd and say that in this case, running the battery down to zero percent is helpful.
The battery is obviously not calibrated right. Running it down to zero percent and turning it back on will make sure that the battery calibration is better for next time.

Just bought a blackberry Q10, it's battery had 50% and I drained it to 14% then I charged it till it reached 100% and I left in charge half an hour extra then I plugged it out.
did I charge it correctly for the first time?
One more question
Where can I find the battery's settings?
Thanks

Anyways, I'm not doing this to my phone regularly (that was actually the first time haha). Just want to calibrate it. The phone had shut down 10 minutes after posting. :D

That shows how superior battery life is on the Q. Mine does the same as well.

Hello! I asked a question here?
Posted via CB10
Okay. First. It's okay that you charged that way. And it's healthier if you calibrate your battery once a month (as BlackBerry said once). And I don't know what battery settings you're talking about but you can view the status of your battery on device monitor under app manager in settings. :)

And how can I calibrate my own battery?
Thanks

As I've noticed that the battery drains out quickly once the cpu gets warmer.
For example :
While using the Internet, when u use whatsapp, BlackBerry browser and download something all at once the cpu gets very warmed which cause draining the battery out so quickly.
Am I right?

Check out your recently installed applications. Under settings, go to Security and Privacy then application permissions. Look at the applications that are allowed to run in background (headless). Those are the apps that will always run even when you closed them already.

Thanks a lot :-)
I did everything you've told me, I only have one app in Run in background list, it's call recorder!

Very much welcome. :)
