I pulled Netflix off Amazon and gave it a shot. Boy was I surprised!

For the record, it runs better than it does on my Nexus 5, with the exception of screen real estate. The video looks great, its smooth, it loads fast. Wow!!

I've also noticed Tapatalk works better on my q10. On my Nexus, there are some sub forums that just won't load. They work fine on my q10.

    I love that phone.

I pulled it from Snap and was equally surprised as to how well it ran. I still prefer my laptop but for longer than usual commuting via a packed train it's ideal. Very smooth and reliable, doesn't miss a beat.

It is actually surprising, the all touch BB's have a much better chance of running apps because of screen real-estate.

With an HDMI cable, it's "Netflix on the go". BlackBerry rocks.

Netflix could have used this Android version and ported it to BB10 just to get it in BlackBerry World. I was shocked at how perfectly the app works!

I tried using it with an HDMI cable to my TV however, but the screen size was all wonky. It would have been the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae if it worked, but I have other things to display Netflix on my TV.

Can you use the PlayOn feature with HDMI or does it just show the Q10 screen somewhat small on the TV? I tried it a while back and at that point the you couldn't go full screen when output to HDMI. The PlayOn option was missing.

just plug in the cable and whatevers on the phone screen will be on the tv. I've done it countless times on my z10 with netflix. you don't need the play on feature. the audio is fine too. you can tap the power button on the phone when you're set up so you don't have netflix on two screens.

The Q10 only fills part of the screen if you don't use PlayOn with videos.

I was just wondering if the later OS versions gave Android Apps such as Netflix access to PlayOn.

Using an HDMI, sometimes what you are showing will determine what the picture size is. I simply use the TV's adjustments to get the picture I want.......done deal.
