    Hello,
    I want to purchase a blackberry Q10, but I heard that many people have a problem with the keyboard, a double typing issue, is this issue in every device?
    Or just some people are having this issue?
    Please this is the only thing I don't like about the q10.
    So if not I'll be buying it tmw.

    From my experience.

    I hadn't any HW issues for almost 6 months. Last week, I started had this keyboard problems, so I took device to my reseller and they switched it for new.

    SW issues are different thing though...

    I have the Z10, but my father has the q10, and he has never complained about double typing issues. Not to say they don't happen for some, I've just never heard of anyone with issues like that.

    That is not true. I gave my wife to use mine because her Samsung windows phone broke and she refuse to give my q10 back. her replacement windows phone is a nokia 900. She refuse to use it. This has been going on for over three months.

    I've got a second hand one that was purchased on release day in Australia. Still running strong, it's a great phone. Especially with 10.2.1, brings back some good BBOS features.

    Over 6 months with mine and no keyboard issues at all, the Q10 is a very solid device in my opinion.

    I've never had the double typing issue with my Q10, after 6 months of ownership. Because it's human nature to speak up only when something goes wrong, those who have it probably are more likely to post than those of us whose phones work fine.

    I wouldn't let that fear stop you from buying this fantastic phone. Like any other purchase, make sure you get a new product with a proper warranty with it, of course. That way you'll be covered in the unlikely event anything is faulty.

    Never had a single issue with anything. Awesome phone and the best phone I've ever owned......although I've never owned anything but BlackBerry's so I'm a bit biased.

    I had the issue when I updated to 10.2 with sachesi. It was all over this forum. Simple cure was to do a wipe and then worked perfect ever since. It was 100% software related - nothing to do with hardware. Best phone out there!

    That's interesting. I never found out what the cause was until now. Never had the problem myself.

    I have two Q10 phones. I do have a slight issue with one and the double typing issue. Mainly on the A key. Still, it's only on occasion and these phones are amazing. Just do it! You will not be disappointed.

    The keyboard is about the only thing that actually works on the Q10, if you are switching up from an older model prepare for a month or two of annoyances with all the other problems it has.

    Not sure what this comment is about. If you are trying to help it might be good to discuss your issues. Otherwise this comment is not helping the OP or the rest of us that just picked up a Q10.

    My space bar does not give a good click feedback. Got my phone from guarantee cellular and this is the only issue I have. Have contacted them a couple times about an exchange and unfortunately they haven't been very helpful.

    Other than that I love the phone. I have mostly adjusted to not having spacebar feedback, but I would prefer if it was there.
