Yup. Same. That's why I bought my Q10 directly through VZW's website. I wasn't going to battle with the Sales Reps who bash BB.

It hadn't really occurred to me until I read this thread that I hadn't seen anyone else with a BB10 device. Which is sad because BB10 is a brilliant OS, and it has come a long way with the updates we have achieved. I've owned a Z10 from the morning it was released in the UK. Yesterday a bought a second hand Q10. Got to say, the keyboard is great, I love typing on it. I like the feel and the sound of the keys clicking away. I haven't missed the larger screen of the Z10, in fact I prefer the overall size of the Q10. I also really like the fact that when I use it, everyone can see I use a BlackBerry and not a iPhone or a android.

Now, I buy online but when the Z10 came out, I was too excited to wait for it to arrive in the mail.

Can't say I have seen one either. This is my first go around with bb10 and I gotta say it sure is under rated. What a awesome operating system. Everything flows and works great.

Unfortunately, as a weekday user of a Q10 and an often weekend user, although not this weekend, of a Z30, I have not yet seen another Q10. Many many 9XXX devices, a few curves and even a Torch. But no Q10. Sad as it is a great phone.
That's something I've noticed with BlackBerry phones over others. They are comfortable phones to hold. It makes a positive first impression to potential buyers.
I've seen two other Q10s out there. One is my friend's (she just bought it a couple of weeks ago, former iPhone user) and the other one is a journalist's at a PR meeting I attended (he placed his phone on the table).
I own a Q10 myself, bought it a month ago. I upgraded to it from a Bold 9900 previously.
Now I'm thinking of posting a photo of my Q10 on Facebook (just need to think of a status to go along with it), because there might be legacy users among my friends who don't even know the Q10 exists (if I weren't a CrackBerry member, I would not have known about it!) or are aware of it but are on the fence as to whether to get one or not. Hopefully spreading a little positive word-of-mouth might generate some interest.
The Q10 is a great phone and it's frustrating that there's not much awareness of it because of the far-from-ideal amount of advertising.

Make sure u r prepared for some of the bashing that might happen when u post ur Q10. Hope u recruit more BB10 users!!
Loving my Zed 10!!
Saw my first fellow Q10 user in Dulles Airport last week. They're out there - the few and the proud ;-) it's a super phone - I'm very glad I bought mine.

yep. best phone on earth right now. Now that my Q10 has a tempered glass screen protector its even more beautiful.
Here in the Dominican Republic I have only seen 3 Z10 (beside mine's) 1 Q5 and another Q10 (beside's mine). But still TONS of pre-OS10 devices. I bought my Z10 from day 1 but now my daily driver is the Q10. Claro (my telecom provider) is reducing little by little the Z30, very tempted to impulse buy.

I see quite a bit of all variations still up in Canada, but they are dwarfed by the amount of iphone and android phones that I see.
I guess we're the Mazda to the Toyota and Honda's :)

No other live BlackBerry 10 devices where I live here in the States, but I don't really look for them either. Interestingly enough the sales representative for verizon was very knowledgeable about blackberry, and encouraged me to get it when I asked about it. I even asked her if she sells a lot of them, and she said they do sell decently but not nearly as much as the roids and iphones. Granted the stores location gives them a lot of traffic, being in a mall and ****. When they asked me if I wanted to trade in my 9930 for $100 I told them no because I would be passing it onto my mom, and how it would be perfect for her because it's a smartphone that isn't too smart for an older non tech savvy parent. I told him how it's perfect because of keyboard, not touching on a screen. The security, because of how closely she watches her finances. Lastly, just how easy and efficent to use it is, and yet can still go on the Internet and maps if you need to, without paying for some obscure data plan without using it. Plus how I have used it for over two years with no case and it had no scratches. The whole time another sales rep was trying to show this older couple how to use their new iphones right next to me. They were clearly confused, and didn't know anything about how to use it but overheard what I was saying. So what I did was show them my old phone let them feel it, play around with it and they were sold immediately.
Here was an old couple who found what they needed in a phone, not some stupid fancy ****. I told them how I just bought a new battery on ebay for cheap and it's running like new, and how the phone is older so it's pretty cheap in general. There iPhone couldn't do that.
I don't know if they ever switched to blackberry or not. But I just smiled back at the two cute little things who looked at me with wide eyes because I did their job for them. :)

Double post my bad
I have an adjunct professor who uses a Q10 courtesy of her law firm. It warms my heart every Wednesday to see her and her Q10. Only person I've seen with one.

Maybe something like, "loving my q10... Typo free since (date you got it)"
Or "ask me about my NEW Blackberry Q10!"
Or "proudly typing texts typo-free on my NEW BB Q10!"
My email signature line is, 'sent from my Blackberry Q10...look ma, no typos!'
Incidentally, some of my friends try to mock my having a BB from that email sig line. Doesnt bother me, but if youre thin-skinned....
My company of over 30,000 employees all had BBOS7 with 9930 on BES. About 2/3 are field based operations and the other 1/3 works at Headquarters.
We were offered BYOD and with a catch. BlackBerry offered the free typical corporate upgrade but to a BlackBerry 10 device (only the Z10 and Q10 were available at the time). If you wanted an iPhone or Android you had to buy it yourself and obviously it could be used for personal calls and communication, but our IT admin was in charge of all apps, etc. So those who chose iPhones and Androids didn't have access to the iTunes or Google store but instead just had access to company intranet and apps pushed from IT.
Moral of the story. About 2/3 chose iPhones or Androids even though they had to pay for them and had no access to anything but corporate stuff. To me that shows it was "coolness" and "popularity" decision. Could have had a Z10 or Q10 for FREE with the same features as my company restricted the iPhone and Android users too.
It's kind of funny...people with iPhones that can't even listen to music, use the camera, Facetime, Siri, etc yet so excited to have an iPhone. and trust me. If you knew where I worked and what I did, you'd think the last thing a person would care about is there cellular device. I have 2 Q10's. One work issued and one personal.
So to answer the thread when we do have meetings it's usually about 15 of us:
-5 iPhones
-5 Androids
-5 BlackBerry 10's (mosly Q10's)
***I've yet to see one outside of work though***
Posted with my BlackBerry Q10 on VZW from Philly
Not "in the wild". However, I thought I caught Raylan on the TV drama "Justified" using a Q10. Cool.
Finally saw one while boarding the plane from Luxembourg to London. Obviously a business traveller as well. But it's a start and i'm happy to show this baby off.

I saw my first bb10 phone (Q10) while getting tires put on my car at discount tire. I was surprised I just about gave up on ever seeing one

I heard there was a secret wave between certain car models when crossing paths (volkswagon?)
Maybe if Kevin got behind the idea, it would take off.

I've seen a few Q10 in the subway and at work and in Orphan Black they have the Z10 :) bbc show :)

Where I live everybody uses I phones and androids. But I don't care. I'm done with software update related disasters. I can't wait for my Q10 to show up because right now I am without a phone, period. I'm doing everything from my tablet.
Where I'm from, I have not seen anybody else using a Q10. I just got mine. I was a BlackBerry user over a year ago and switched to iphone and android when I had no more friends to send bbm to, lol :) I hated the iphone. Too boring and I wasn't using the apps anyway. So, when it came time to renew my line's contract and they offered a Q10 and Z10 free on my plan, I decided to go back to BlackBerry. Admittedly, I missed using a BlackBerry. I'm liking the Q10 so far and I don't care if I am the odd man out in a sea of iphones and androids.
