I recently returned to BlackBerry, I am in college now, last time I had a Blackberry it was the curve back in 10th grade lol, well the Z10 is great and all but I was missing the physical keyboard part of BlackBerry and was wondering what anyone thought? If anyone has done the same?
I had the craving to go back to the physical keyboard as well and I'm glad I did! Although I had to sacrifice screen real estate I really do not regret it. The added bonuses of having that keyboard massively outweigh that sacrifice. Plus the added battery life, I think you should go for it.
I recently sold my Z10 and will soon be getting a Q10 .although the keyboard on the z10 was awesome i was just itiching to go back to the physical QWERTY
Made the switch last Thursday, definitely worth it! The Z10 is also a great device btw. For the Z10 to Q10 switchers I do recommend using the word prediction setting. It's a brilliant balance between physical keyboard and onscreen advantages.
I use to have a Bold 9780 before I got myself a Z10. A couple of months later I bought a Q10 for my wife, boy that is a nice device elegant and so.. but now I'm used to BlackBerry virtual keyboard, I find I'm slow using a physical one. I guess it would be just a matter of time to get used to it again, but screen real state... I couldn't go back
I have had BlackBerry phones all my life and as many others was waiting for the BB10 line to come out and had the Z10 first but also missed the physical keyboard. Was given the Q10 by my wife and love everything about it. The keyboard is fantastic as well as the word predictions. The battery life is great. I'm on it heavy all day and I get about 10 hours running constant and on a light day perhaps a full day without charging. Get the Q10 and you won't regret it
The Q10's keyboard has been strong since day one with very heavy usage daily and almost a month later shows no signs of any distress or wear. The phone itself is built well nice and sturdy and looks like it will last a long time. Hope this answers your questions
Thanks for your feedback everyone I just got my Q10 and it's very nice only things it's missing from the Z10 is the docs-to-go for word and powerpoint, anyone know how to download them to the Q10?

Yep, I've been using it since the playbook days and it just rocks. Saves the environment as well: as soon as I click "print" from my desktop the option "print to go" pops up. Many times I'm thinking "that will do actually" and Mr Tree doesn't need to be cut down for paper.
I have both and always find myself switching. I actually find the z10 keyboard is quicker and more efficient for me to use with the ability to flick words. Also easier to type with 1 hand. Full qwerty is more satisfying tho
Also i like that the q10 has much better battery life and the screen is sharper with the oled display vs the lcd on the z10. Overall both fantastic phones but i always change back and forth!
Very true, the Z10's keyboard is excellent but I like the true professional look to the Q10, maybe in a distant future I will buy a Z30 and keep one for business and one for media.

I got the Z10 when it came out to help me deal with the wait for the Q10. It was my first touchscreen phone and I really learned to love it.. then I got the Q10 and I remembered all the greatness of having a real keyboard.
The battery on the Q10 is much better than the Z10. The speaker is much better. It's a little heavier, but that's fine with me. Though I spent like three solid months with the Z10 by itself, I got real comfortable with the Q10 almost immediately. I feel more comfortable with the Q10, though if it never came out, I'd happily be using my Z10.
I kept my Z10 and I use it sometimes, but if I know I'll be doing a lot of messaging or won't be near a charger all day, I grab the Q10.
