    I turn it off, put in a fresh battery and BBM is still draining my battery. What's the deal? I'm running 10.2 too.

    I would upgrade to 10.3 , might fix some of your problems.

    My carrier didn't release 10.3. I think the problem is BBM. If I could deactivate BBM, I would since it's my only energy hog.

    Install 10.3.1 autoloader, it should fix your problem
