I can get easily 2 days with heavy use before I go to bed on second day. I charge it then with about 10 to 15 percent remaining. I've never used a phone with battery life like this.

My Q10 is sexier than your Q10.
2 days with heavy use? Do you have an extended battery? What OS are you on? Do you use Android apps? I'VE GOT TO KNOW YOUR SECRET!

wow, my previous BB's i have to charge constantly I am hoping the q10 holds up better. I dont use any apps except FB. I talk ALOT since its my business line & text quite a bit & have 5 email accounts set up in it. So we will see.. I am amazed to see people hauling around extra batteries.. I just make sure i have a charger of some type with me at all times & i always charge in the car while going somewhere.

I email, text, call, BBM and use apps all day to the point of heating the phone up to where it gets hot and freezes or locks. After a full day I still have at least 20% when I go to bed so I recharge it then. Run it down to dead if you have the time to restart it but the supplied charger will get you over 60% charge in an hour or so. I have only had the phone for 2 weeks and hear that the battery life gets better once it gets broken in. I don't keep apps open in the background or use social networking. Works much better than my old phone.

My Q10 gets usually 2 days running time. Have emails but no social networking. Do some reading from NY Times etc. Turnoff at bedtime. Activate in am. Charge when reading is below 30%. 10.1.0.2030 software AT&T carrier.

Typically I take it off the charge at 6:30am and put it back on charge at 11:00pm at night, with anything usually about 50% or under. I usually won't charge the device (knowing I can get another full days use) if it is at 70% or higher at night time, this usually only happens on a weekend, where usage is considerably lower. However if I begin my day at 70% or lower (depending on the discharge over night) I will be at 15% or lower come the next night.

15-5% usually swap out the battery. Battery bundle is great, just swap and go :-) Never really had the phone on charge, just the spare battery.

Took off charge Saturday morning, Sunday evening at 11pm still showing over 50%. Ok, a weekend is going to be less intensive than working days, but I was still active over the weekend with bbm, whatsapp, sms and work emails. No social networking or internet browsing apart from CB and some newspaper apps.

Yeah but posting results for my Q10 wouldn't be fair. It just sits on my desk. It tends to last 3 or 4 days between charges.

Notice the furthest back charge cycle. 19ish hours with HEAVY use browsing Facebook, CB, Twitter, streaming music via Bluetooth and multiple (atleast 4) tabs open in the browser literally non stop. But following OP's format; I try to let mine get to the 20% bar before charging, including sometimes leaving it off the charger until "middle of the night restroom break" just to shorten the amount of time it's charging. I don't know if i'm crazy or what but after my experience with android and 2nd Gen iPod touch, leaving on the charge over night seems to drain overall battery life. My deciding point to go to BB10 was battery life and I'm absolutely loving it.

How come mine says battery at 54% will last 2 hours while others on this thread show 16 hours for 65%?

    Yup, still can't attach screenshots
I want to keep loving my phone but I'm starting to doubt I can

Battery monitor uses an average of recent consumption to estimate remaining battery life. This updates every 2 minutes I believe. So, close whatever unnecessary apps you have open, leave it for a couple of minutes. If you've just been using a power intensive app (a game for example), the battery monitor will not have updated yet to give you a more accurate reading.

Regarding attaching photos, you need to ensure that shared files is "on" in the permissions settings. Then, if you're using a touchscreen device, the attach button is hidden below the virtual keyboard. To access this, long press on the space bar to take away the keyboard and reveal the attach picture button.

My usage pattern is highly irregular but most of the time I get like a day and a half of juice. Also, as someone mentioned before, I keep unnecessary features turned of 90% of the time. That includes location services and 4G. Actually, I have no need for 4G at all. I never leave any apps running in the backround unless I am actively searching for some information.

Never had any battery drainage issues so far, and I also received my spare battery yesterday.

19h in average, some 23h if I don't play. But Internet is a must, aswell as CB-App (addicted)...

I have a spare battery. I swap battery (when the signal turns yellow below 20%) if I forget to put into charger over night... Happens very often to me... sadly... Thisnight, too... went 22:30 to bed, forgot to plug into charger, then woke up 6:30... you see the monitored curve in my screenshot...
I charged with the playbook charger and I am unplugged again :-D

My Q5 last from 7:15 am to about 8pm with moderate use, eg web browsing, phone calls and e-mails. So about 12 - 13 hours. But defiantly depends on how much you use it. Could last you 2 days if you hardly use it

I will recharge around 20%. I will usually get 2+ days run on it. I'm not a heavy user. shut down programs that I don't need. Run lte instead of 4G. Shut it down at nite.

This was my usage with 3g on the whole time. Though that day we're less 15 emails, bbm messages. (I bbm for hours) and light browsing.
My bbm is the only one that eats up my battery because an hour call don't really have much effect of my battery life compared to using bbm or skype or whatsapp. I'm quite satisfied with my battery life. I normally don't have to worry to bring my charger.
