As a final step of migrating from my old phone, I am trying to import all my contacts from it to the Q10.

I have exported all contacts from the previous phone into a VCF file, and I am trying to import it into the Q10. But it is not working right... I emailed myself the VCF file and I click it in the hub. But then only the first contact gets imported, and all the rest are ignored.

I would really like not to have to create a separate VCF file for each contact... Somehow all other phones I used so far were able to import multiple contacts at once, but how do I do that on the BlackBerry?

Can you just use a gmail account and import all the vcf contacts there? then set it up on your q10 and you should be allset

I had the same issue but used outlook.com account to do as gmail does not seem as happy to play with BB anymore. I had much grief and gave up on gmail sync.

OK, actually I ended up downloading an app named Contacts ImEx from Blackberry World. It imported my VCF file without problems.

It gets really frustrating that so many apps people seem to find on BB App World don't exist any more. I understand that BB 10 is what it's all about now but for those of us still on BB7 devices this is a nightmare. I thought I'd cracked this problem with the option to Import Contacts from Dropbox option but unfortunately it just seems to sit there with a busy timer running. Has anyone successfully used Dropbox to import contacts?

I've tried to to this on a Blackberry Bold 9900 but it only imports the same 3 random contacts. I have no clue why but it is pretty frustrating.

Rather than VCF format, why not CSV ?
In BB 7 or later there is no feature to import CSV file through desktop manager. But Outlook can import it (other files). And Desktop manager can import from Outlook.
