After restoring from a backup, I cannot get contacts to display only the contacts I want to show up on an ongoing basis. (i.e. In settings, I turn off Twitter, email account a and b). The ones I want off stay off for a while and then mysteriously turn themselves back on.
Has anyone found a solution to this nuisance?

I had the same problem. It turned out to be a minor glitch carried forward when I restored my settings. As a test, I wiped my device and set it up from scratch. The problem went away and hasn't returned.

Thanks. I wonder if anyone knows the name of the file that stores that information is. I would sure like to delete one file rather than setting up the whole thing from scratch again....
