I have tried many things to get to a place where I can successfully use the world app again.
A couple of things noted here to help...
I am running win 10pro 64
Q10 OS version is 10.3.3.2205
Software release 10.3.3.1463

Q10 plugged in using official USB and set to developer mode.
1. running blackberry-appworld-update-0.9 bat
I get a timeout connection 169.294.0.1:443
and suggested I reboot the target - done that tried different cables different USB etc.
2. Sachesi 2.0.4 cycles to find the device (password entered)
3. DBBTool_3.1.0.1 cant seem to connect to phone.

so if any one can point me in the direction to the correct download that would be great maybe it just windows but I can't see what the problem is. I think I'm going to find a win 7 machine...lol

You don't use developer mode with either Sachesi or DDBT.

Did you install the BlackBerry USB drivers which are found in the BlackBerry Link package? You only need to install the drivers - not Link or Blend.

I also had errors and a hard some doing the update with autoloaders.

as conite suggested, I changed my usb cable and installed the blackberry drivers and have been trouble free ever since.

Use DBBT instead.

Reboot computer and phone, and try another USB port and cable.

Ok replaced cable attached to a new location.
Rebooted and phone.

Have you run through the initial setup on the Q10 where you have to try out the gestures and connect to the internet?

Yes, and by some miracle, I have connected to the phone searched for updates and ran the installer that seems to have installed.
Maybe you can tell by this image, the only thing I did differently was put a little extra pressure when attaching the cable to BB port, might be that its a bit wonky for its age etc..



To add app world is now working which was the original intent after the os upgrade. The whole purpose was to find a compatible voip app to run here on the internal phone system. Considering we were down a phone (mine) I thought hey why don't I use that Q10 tucked away, remembering the good ol days and very much attached to BB.
Alive and well below.


For whatever reason this is now up and running, I credit the good and patient people at crackberry who kept my spirits high.
