[CrackBerry Question]

Hello! So here's my problem - my speaker is crackling when the volume is at 11-12, so it's not too high, but not too low. I don't know why this is happening and it's getting on my nerve. I can't set a ringtone or listen to music and even when I get a notification, there is a crazy crackling in my speaker. Could this be from the speaker - like is it broken? Or is the OS?

I will give you my phone details so you can get an idea.
Model - BlackBerry Q10
Software release - 10.3.1.1779

It's just me or there are another people who get the same issue?

You could "try" another OS version..... but it sound as if your speaker has gone bad.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do here. Sorry to tell you that. I fear your speaker has simply been damaged in someway. For example playing music at max volume. the only way to fix is to replace the speaker.

I never go higher than 10 for my Q5, simply because I don't want to risk damaging the speaker.

Oh, thanks for your answers. You kinda helped me get an idea. Maybe I'll get it right at a service, but first I'll try to downgrade to the previous OS, just to make sure that the problem is not just a bug.
