    Hi,
Can someone help me to figure out a way to send a movie file (1 GB file) from my Blackberry Q10(Version 10.2) to an Android phone?

    I tried
    1) Wi-fi connect.
    2) Zapya (Android app) etc
But of no help. (Bluetooth is workign but too slow).

Which app can I use in this case?
    Thanks,
    Saga

You have Dropbox and Box loaded on your device, use one of them (setup maybe required) to upload your file to the Cloud service then send link to your Android counterpart.

If the other android is DLNA enabled: turn on media sharing.

    Otherwise: http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/32960891

This app allows you to share all your data over Wifi with a web interface.

Also consider Dukto, cross platform app available in Blackberry World and also Android, iOS and PC

You can install ES File Explorer on the Android device and use the Remote Manage function to create an ftp address within your connected Wifi. Put that address into your BB FTP client and move files both ways.

With Wi-fi connect, do you mean the option in Settings | Storage and Access | Access to Storage | Access using Wi-Fi ? I haven't used this feature myself, so I'm curious if you tried it, or if it would work.

Also, you can always transfer the large file to your computer, and then transfer it to the other phone from there. I don't know if this is an option, but it's the simplest one.

    By far the easiest method.

SD cards are going away on Android sadly, the biggest proponent Samsung won't have it on the S6 series.

You could use google drive as well. Many options through cloud services.
