Homescreen "Phone" Shortcut --> "Messages" customizable? OS10

Hi all.
I�m wondering if it is possible to customize my Homescreen (Q10, 10.3.0.738) like this one here:

Can i change my "telephone-shortcut" (bottom left) to "messages" as seen in the screenshot above or is it a 10.3.1 function?

No, that screen layout is tied to the hardware. The reason they can make that corner a "messages" button is because there's an actual hardware button on the Classic to bring the phone up.

if you put 10.3.1 on your phone, you can bind the M key to messages...
