Why two?

Yes I would buy it again i also bought a Z30 last week
Must say that the Q10 actually seems smaller than I was anticipating. I haven't yet gotten it because my current contract still has a few days left and I want to be able to keep my same number, but i went ahead and ordered a basic tpu case and screen protector for it.. I'm getting more and more excited! 😆

After using my Q for the past couple of weeks, I have to correct myself and say that this keyboard is better than the 9900. The straight frets certainly make the keys feel more sturdy. Every time I type on it I smile on the inside. The clickety-ness is music to my ears. I have just typed a review on engadget using my Q. Awesome device.
OP, be sure to update us with first impressions once you get your hands on your new Q.

Most certainly!:)

So far, I've had my Q10 for 6 months and have had no signs of double typing (knock on wood). I'm looking forward to the Classic, but loving my Q10 all the same

No, I wouldn't.
Many of the apps out there for the q10 are crappy ports which are full of bugs and will never receive any bug fixes like the android versions will.
There doesn't seem to be a good gmail app
The maps app doesn't compare with google maps app either.
I'm sure there is a hackish buggy way to get the android apps to work on the q10, but you shouldn't have to go through that
I beg to differ, navfree works rather well. The only reason I carry an android is for hangouts

Never again would I buy a blackberry, but do have a telus locked Q10 blackberry which has less than 6 hours of use, the third time it crapped out they replaced the phone with a brand new unit. The third time I had to start over was the last straw for me, I have moved to a samsung and was suprised how easy the transition was, with the exception of the keyboard which I am still getting use to the device far exceeds the crappy and problematic screen and software for the Q10.
Unfortunately I still owe $500 on my plan for the Q10 device so am looking to get $300 with an otter box, extra battery and charger and all the other cables usb and a spare plugin charger. Awesome deal if you are still on the darkside of the device world!
Samsung feels like a cheap plastic toy though. Yiu just got unlucky with your Q, man.

To each his own Tunexs. My Note3 wife is tired of all the problems that her phone is giving her. I am bored with the iPhone and when our contract is up, we are both returning to BB.

Well. Today was supposed to be the day. But the reps at the AT&T store tried to order my Q10 and were unable to because it's no longer in stock in their warehouses and is being discontinued- from what I'm told by Blackberry. Not sure what to think of this but it's very discouraging if it is in fact true. So I went home empty-handed. Looking over all the options now

Stay contract free and pick up an unlocked version off amazon. Or unlock it yourself. Just be sure you get the model that supports the lte bands of your carrier. They go for plus or minus a little around $200.

Also, fyi I'm on att with this model Q10SQN100-1/10.2.1.3253. The sqn100-1 will take care of att lte for you.

4G/LTE on the Q10 is a real battery killer. I only got 8-10hrs with light use. Switching to 3G extended that to 16+hrs with heavy use and over 24hrs with light use. I just toggle 4G on when needed.

Around here if we want 3g speeds we just switch to Sprint lol.

I dunno, I'm on Verizon and have 4g and I can go two days with normal use. I guess it depends on location/carrier?
If you're getting a q10, make sure to check the battery door to see if it's loose or not.
CB10 on the Q10
I love the q10 and had it 2 weeks after using s5 and iphone 5. Best purchase I've made in 3 years and looking forward to the features of the passport.

In an instant. Haven't had any keyboard issues. Did have the loose battery/re-boot issue but have fixed that. I recently tried a Z10 for two weeks as my main phone, but it will now be back-up. Went back to the Q10.
Undecided about Passport vs. Classic. I'm intrigued by the idea of the Passport but I love how 'balanced' the Q10 feels in my hand (even compared to the Z10).

While I have other issues with the Q10 (namely BlackBerry not owning up to and addressing the double-typing defect), there is an excellent gmail app: http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/24094890

I'm afraid it's a no from me. The main reason I bought the Q10 - the keyboard - is the worst component in the unit. The OS alone just isn't strong enough, or amazing enough, to me to keep me with Blackberry.
I don't regret buying it but if I had known better I would have chosen a Z30 or a different platform. BlackBerry 10 was a let down for me, I'm hoping the new administration knows how to bring BlackBerry 10 to its full potential.
