Recently purchased a q10 second hand, didn't notice the keys didn't light up ( bought it during the day) and that the headphone jack wasn't working ( also stupidly didn't test ) After opening up the phone noticed the proximity sensor was missing . Does the proximity sensor and the headphone jack have any correlations between each other ? I ordered a new headphone jack installed it and it still doesn't want to work , all I get is either left earbud working or nothing at all ( and sometimes The voice activation will keep popping up) . Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have tried pushing it in all the way etc and have tried several earbuds ranging from apple to monster. I'm running the t mobile 10.2 and have tried leaks etc to no avail. It's extremely frustrating.

    Welcome to the forums!

Have that Q10 returned and grab a functional unit.

Thank you, and I wish it was that easy I purchased it off of a local classified website and the seller is acting shady and not responding to my emails or calls.
