Hello fellow Blackberrians!

I just got my Q10 and love it! So I downloaded the Instagram bar from BB10Bars but when I open it, it says "incompatible device, doesn't meet the camera requirements"..is there a fix/loop around this or an older version I could get? Please help! And sorry if this has been posted before! Thanks a bunch!!

So take that one, and then the one that you link to in your sig, and follow the instructions? I tried it last night, but it did not work. Could you maybe inbox me and re explain the directions. They were not that easy to follow. HUGE HELP.

are you using 10.1 or 10.2?

It worked for me. Download the new version, and allow it to say "incompatible camera..." then delete app, then download the old version but don't sign in. Then reinstall new version and it should work

Here's the old bar that used to work.

If I remember correctly,
- sideload new version first. It'll say incompatible device.
- sideload the older version. Open, but Don't sign in.
- uninstall the newer version that you sideloaded first.
- install the newer version again.

The newer version should now work, including video playback. But if i'm not wrong you can't post videos unless you use some sort of work around again. And commenting on photos, the keyboard doesn't insert spacing.

For normal images posting and browsing, it should work just fine.

Oh, and hide the old instagram app somewhere and DO NOT delete it. Or the newer version would stop working.

Edit: Do note that this process is only for 10.1. I tried it on 10.2 and it didn't work, its the same process in a nutshell but slightly different procedure.

i wish the stupid back button wasnt on the bottom of the q10 it makes it very hard to use instagram. one of the reasons i cant use the q10 i got.

Swipe down from the top like you're looking for settings. should make that bar on the bottom go away...and if you're ever stuck viewing a vid or something, you can either press in the black area to the right of the vid, or you can swipe down, and press the back button..

great resource, and hopefully a sticky will boost views, google may pick it up, and eventually Facebook may see the buzz and finally hire a developer to make insta for bb.
