I was just searching and investigating in this forum and in google., about the Q10.

I'm in the verge of upgrading my Z10, but I have some questions without and answer...

    Why's the Q10 so expensive?

    Why's better than the Z30?

Or they're just different, both runs BlackBerry OS 10.

Please tell me your opinions about it. I'm tired of reading reviews....

Expensive is a personal opinion and kind of depends on where/how you're purchasing it anyway.

Again, a personal opinion. For some, it's better. For others, it's not. All depends on your needs. You clearly don't need a physical keyboard if you've been using a Z10, so the key advantage (if you can call it that) in owning a Q10 is a mute point for you.

I have a Z10, Z30 and Q10 in my family, so I have a little bit of experience in this regard.

As far as cost, it is very similar in build to the Z10, but with a more premium 'glass-weave' back. Aside from this, they are made of the same materials. I am not sure what the cost difference is in your area of the world, but I believe some cost difference can be blamed on the markdown of overstock Z10s, resulting in a large price cut, making it appear as though the Q10 is more expensive, when really, the Z10 is discounted.

In regards to performance, I personally haven't noticed a difference between the Z10 and Q10, and really no big difference between the Z30 and Q10.

The main difference between the Z10 and Q10 is the physical keyboard, and sacrificing almost an inch of screen.

On the software side, there are a few smallthings that are different, for example the Q10 is capable of FM radio, whereas the Z10 can't.

Ack! Had I been slightly less long-winded, I may have beaten Bla1ze. Next time :P

I'm used to my Z10.. and here in my country from Z30 to Q 10 are about like 400 USD of difference. The Z30 is 500 USD and the Q 10 is about 1000USD...big difference

That is a VERY big difference! I upgraded from Z10 to Z30, and if you don't NEED a physical keyboard (as mentioned by Bla1ze) , then I would recommend upgrading to the Z30 instead of the Q10. Is the BlackBerry Passport available in your country? That may be the best of both phones for you. Large screen, and a keyboard, and better performance.

Im as bad typo with my z10 in my q10 if I don't use predictive text lol. It could be worst thn other phones.
I have both phones. My first one was the q10. Build wise- both are good quality phones. The q10 is heavier.
Sideloading apps works better at z10 due to most apps are made for rectangular screen not the 1:1 or square one. I am one of the lucky few that havent develop problems with the battery yet.mine charge until 84% but I will restart after charging and it will show 100%. But it doesnt shut down and it last me an average of 10-12 hrs so im happy with that. The difference and advange of z10 is the bigger screen and q10 the keyboard and battery life is longer. Also, if you spend time outside a lot and under the sun, the z10 is better.

I'm thinking to upgrade from Z10 to Z30... is this a good decision?

It has its pros and cons. But I think it's a good decision.

Upgrade to Z30 meanwhile the Passport gets a little cheaper, since I'm no businessman. I think the passport will be overrated for me...

Yes, it's a god decision! If you update the OS to 10.3.1 later, on the Z30, you don't need the Passport!
