Id like to know the same thing, hopefully as more become available we will know. Someone started a thread that Bell was getting it but users soon confirmed they got the SQN100-1

SQN100i5 is the version Mobilicity and Wind, as well as T-Mobile, will be releasing. I'm also interested in seeing if this is confirmed so I can get one for use on T-Mobile ASAP.

If it's like the Z, the 2 and the 3 are the same bands and actuated by sim. They have the same radio I think this will apply to the Q as well.

From what I've read the -1 and -5 are both HSPA+/LTE capable on band IV (1700MHz). So it'll be compatible (theoretically) with Mobilicity, SaskTel?, T-Mobile, Videotron, and Wind.

The SQN100-3 for Fido is the same as Bell and Rogers, LTE on band VII which is 2600MHz. And as I stated before Mobilicity, T-Mobile, Videotron, and Wind is most likely to be the SQN100-5, while Telus and other carriers will be SQN100-1. The SQN100-2 obviously is the Verizon one and the SQN100-4 is presumed to be the future Sprint version.

So there is only 3 versions of the device. Cdma and two gsm versions. One gsm for Europe and one for north and south America. This is how the Z is set up. There is an extensive thread on it. Both the 100-2 and 100-3 of the Z are the same. I have a two and it isn't supposed to have 1700x but it does.

I believe the Q will be the simular. Sorry om om my phone or I would link to the thread

I read the same documents that you attached and saw the following:
    1. SQN100-1 - "Tri-band HSPA+ support: UMTS 800/UMTS 850, UMTS 1900, UMTS 2100 MHz band"
    2. SQN100-5 - "Quad-band HSPA+ support: UMTS 800/UMTS 850, UMTS 1700, UMTS 1900, UMTS 2100 MHz band"

Are you saying the SQN100-1 has hidden UTMS 1700 band that activates with software or that it exists and is active but simply missing from the reports in the links you posted?

I was mistaken on the -1 but the -5 is definitely the 1700MHz version. There was a post on these forums as well that listed the different Q10 models and has the -1 as a possible functioning 3G/4G device for carriers that's utilize Band IV. But you're correct the -1 doesn't utilize 1700 I was confused, I had the SQN100-2 spec sheet open not even realizing the 1700 was the CDMA band.

I think he just misread the info and thought the -1 had 1700 coverage on HSPA. Because his own documentation clearly states that 1700 support on HSPA only exists on the -5.

I may just wait until Mobilicity/Wind get stock then purchase from them as I would prefer the most versatile version possible (assuming they get the -5)

On a side note, after reading through the spec's does anyone else find it odd that they would even offer the -1? I mean the -5 looks to be the exact same phone with the exception of having 1700 added to the HSPA frequencies.

I might be mistaken but the SQN100-1 does list Quad-band LTE with support for the 1700MHz band.

The sim is what is believed to activate it. It's confirmed that the Z10 that shows it doesn't have 1700, does. I have confirmed it myself.

Gave it to a local unlocker and he has not gotten the server code yet...in hindsight I should have used the Crackberry service but I had no idea of it until it was too late. Hopefully tomorrow...

it seems NO ONE got the SQN100-5 on any network.

    Any news?
