    Bug in the BlackBerry OS. Go to settings, text messages from the hub. Advanced. Change "Send Text-Only Message As" from "automatic" to "MMS". You will then send all texts as mms. Mms is required for group text. The flaw in OS10 is that "automatic" doesn't switch to mms correctly for group texts.

    Group texting using MMS is a hit and miss, especially when texting iOS users since their OS will revert to iMessage to do the group texting

    This is definitely a carrier issue. I'm on verizon and have not problems receiving or sending group texts to any device. I do have to have data services enabled to send them.

    T-mobile users have the issue. I have 2 users with this same problem. 1 with a motorolla the other with a samsung. Seems blackberry users are the same

    The work around for t-mobile users to send a group text. Go to hub settings>text messages>advanced> send text messages as MMS. I don't know if the enable group message then pops or if it just sends it.

    If you are a previous iphone user make sure you log on to your account with your apple Id and turn off your imessage.

    This is now fixed on 10.3.2.680. Can set "Send text" mode back to "automatic.

    Did you observe this on a Q10? Or the Z30? I'm using a Z30 on t-mobile and the mms issue was fixed in one of the latter 10.3.1 updates, but my Q10's wasn't fixed.
