I guess I will stick to 10.2.1 that came loaded in the phone for the time being till they come out with a stable 10.3.2 or something !
A wise decision. Better safe than sorry.

When I stated that I couldn't hear my device's notifications after I "upgraded" to 10.3.1, I meant exactly that, it isn't hyperbole of any sort.

Posted using 10.2.1, thankfully not 10.3.1
Oh I know some have literally had their volume lowered that much. But for many like me it's just a bit low so I have/had to bump it up much higher than I normally would.

It's more like I won a jackpot but there is 50% chance that my legs will break after taking it lol

I think I read that a wheelchair is a suitable workaround!

The problem as I see it is that I have data that is not synced to any cloud service that I need to maintain on my phone. From what I've read, people who wipe and install 10.3.1 fresh without running a restore are fine with 10.3.1. Users who do non-destructive updates or restore from backups after updating are the ones with issues. I need my data, so I have to wait for an upgrade that will keep my data intact after the upgrade.

Do a full backup of your device and fully charge your battery before you upgrade. If everything works, great! You are one of the lucky ones.

If there are issue, and if the battery is fully charged, you will be able to autoload 10.2.1 and then restore you backup that you are not able to restore with 10.3.1 on the device.

If you are happy with 10.2, there is no compelling reason to download 10.3. No critical security updates, etc. Also, many Canadian providers have pulled the update for the Q10 and Z10. So you don't *need* 10.3.

I'm happy to wait for Verizon to push out an update. Looks to me there are a lot of problems with the original roll out.
