Both are great phones. I have both. However, as I crave a physical keyboard, I think the Q is by far the better of two phones. However, you must decide based on your likes, needs and desires. I will say, the Z30 virtual keyboard is far superior to any other all touch screen phone.

Yes, they are. Also, you have the option to choose one of the autoloader files also.

I have both in my family and believe me Black Q10 wins everytime...

Just the camera is something you'll have to compromise with on Q10, Z30's camera is awesome..

Depends on what you do with your device. If you want to watch movies, videos and surf then go for Z30.

If you are a frequent texting person or love to chat more often then go for Q10 only if you love the physical keyboard. I came from Z30 to Q10
I am loving the Q10 alot now and planning to get a classic later on. So think of your taste and choose wisely

Z30 gets leaks early than Q10 sometimes, :P

It depends. I for myself use a Q10 or Classic during the week when the emphasis is on communication. On weekends however I prefer the Z30 as media consumption is better due to the larger screen.

Owner of both too and gotta say the Z30 has to be by far the best ALL touch BlackBerry has come out with, and for the Q10 it reminds me of the Bold 9900 which was back before they came out with BB10 devices my favorite qwerty device. saying that the Q10 to me is the Bold 9900 of the BB10s with of course higher specs. and has become my favorite BB10 QWERTY device. the size and quality of its build...sweet!!
You can't go wrong with owning both.

I would only add to beware of the double typing reputation of the Q10. This seems to be a widespread problem. Whereas the Z30 build quality is superb. However, what matters most is the intended use of the phone - media or communications ?

They're probably both at the same price point.

The Z30 offers more functionality with miracast, USB OTG, etc and has no keyboard issues. It'll definitely have a longer lifespan.

The Q10 is prone to long term wear and subsequent failure leading to DT, which is almost guaranteed at this point with the available units floating around.

If you could buy both for cheap I'd say buy both - otherwise the Z30 is the much better buy.

The BlackBerry virtual keyboard is nearly on par with the pkb.

Really depends what you're looking for, they're pretty different devices. I'd never use a VKB device, but if I did I'd choose the Z30, my wife has one and it's excellent.

FYI both are on Groupon at great prices, $199 for the Z and $129 for the Q.

I have both phones and love BOTH of them. I was thinking about getting the Classic this summer but honestly I am perfectly happy with these two phones. I go back and forth on which one is my main driver and use the other one on wifi. I use both of them about equally - each one is great for different things obviously. I do have a double typing issue on the Q but I have learned to live with it using a few workarounds. I guess if I HAD to pick one, I would go with the Z30.

It's better or on par with the Q10 on all aspects.
Battery is better, processor and GPU are better. Has OTG. Better reception.

If i could only have one BlackBerry it would be the Z30. If you got a Q5 later you could swap the sim card on days you really want a keyboard. Just sayin bc the Q5 is a nice phone but less expensive. The Z30 may soon become hard to find at all, get it now, but youll probably want a keyboard phone too. Q5's dont have the double typing issue.
